Alysse in Hawaii whose jump from investment banking to creating her own financial consulting company all started with a weekend trip to Maui. As an investment banker on Wall Street her life on the outside seemed like a life filled with money, power, and luxury but on the inside, she felt an overwhelming sense of emptiness and lack of purpose and fulfillment. Seven days following her trip to Maui Alysse quit her job, packed her things and headed back to the island. No job and no plan.
In Maui she found that whenever she mentioned her past life on Wall Street, she would be inundated with questions about money management, the stock market, money advice, investments, etc. These questions lead her to the realization that she could put her knowledge to use in her new home.
